Funny Theories...

So I woke up this morning to find that when I opened my mouth all that would come out were broken squeaks of noise. I have felt a cold coming for a few days but I couldn't have done more than take medicine, vitamins, and sleep. Today was supposed to be our community service day. Sunny and I had set up for us to go with the Croatians we know to a government home for children. It was a great day, but honestly frustrating since I couldn't speak to anyone with straining myself and sounding like a squeaky wheel. My friends come up with a couple theories for the loss of my voice that I thought were kind of funny...so I thought I would share. 1. One of my roommates had "choked" me and so now my voice was messed up. 2. I was out late "partying" last night, dancing and yelling the night away. 3. I was following in Zechariah and Elizabeth (taking on both roles) where Zechariah couldn't speak until John the Baptist was born...so thus suggesting miraculous child conception and silence for nine months. 4. I was faking it, so a couple people preceded to make jokes at my expense hoping I would speak up and stand up for myself. Well none of those being true they were disappointed and instead decided to just laugh at any of my attempts to communicate. Thank you all for being soo encouraging today...I know who to call next time I don't have a voice. =0) Don't get used to my silence, my voice will be back soon, hopefully and my fingers are currently crossed. It's quite the humbling thing to not be able to speak or communicate. You just have to listen, but what do you do when you have something to say, well today I had to bite my tongue.
