Oh Banana Bread
So this after
noon, I embarked on my frist try at making banana nut bread. Taylor assisted me oh so well, and all my roommates waited eagerly for the loaf to finish (even the men were awaiting the call to tell them to come get a piece of banana bread). The smell was permeating the rooms in our small apartment, and finally it was done. We got a little nervous while it baked because a extra banana was added to the recipe since we have four brown bananas instead of three. The reason we were nervous was due to the dough seeming to be extra juicy and sticky. But the bread was perfect, and there are even chocolate chips on top for Sunny and Jo
hn. Their request for half nuts and half chocolate was just a little to difficult to figure out, but the chocolate on top was a nice touch. It was quickly eaten over some fun roommate talk, and we joked that maybe we should eat the whole thing and make another one for the guys. We decided in the end that stomach aches would not be worth it in the end. So here's to a successful backing venture. Thanks for the recipe Mom, though now you will most likely have me make the banaba bread when I am home. =0)
