My Morning Nightmare!

So the object you should focus on in this picture is the policeman's whistle. I hate this whistle and every whistle that hangs on the policemans neck. So the story is that the Croatian police sometimes turn traffic lights off and direct traffic by whistle. There is no reason for this just simply because they can. Some people say it's practice for a real emergency but who really can any more than it's a terrible idea. It's piercing blow wakes me from my precious sleep in the morning, and in that moment I wish I had something decently hard enough to throw out the window at the holder of the whistle. Logic needs to prevail here, and only then will I be able to sleep to the moment my alarm goes off. But for now I just send my unhappy thoughts to these men and women, because really who in Croatia is going to listen to a little American girl.
